![]() ![]() It looks like the location of Stamps have been changed in 2023. I don't believe those folders are needed unless you are maintaining two separately working installs of multiple versions. Any previous numbers will represent that previous version of Snagit. Note: You'll probably see a folder named "23" representing Snagit 2023.These files and folders in the Snagit folder are going to contain all your customizations like toolbars, QuickStyles/QuickEffects, Favorites, etc.Ĭopy all those files & folders to the same location on your new computer. (It's also worth checking the same folder if you have other Techsmith apps such as Camtasia because it can silently start to eat of gigs of space) If you see a CrashDumps folder, delete all its content.On your original computer, go into %localappdata%\Techsmith\snagit Ensure that Snagit 2023 is installed on both PCsĬopying all your customizations, favorites, etcĬlose Snagit / Snagit Editor on both computers. ![]() More is better depending how much data you have. Recommend having a USB stick with at least 4GB free.Anything recommended below will not break or change functionality on the existing/current computer. Any references to previous versions of Snagit should be considered as "how I remember it". Everything noted below is based on what I experienced moving content from Snagit 2023 to a new computer with Snagit 2023. ![]()
